Emily H Events had the honor of planning the Red Carpet & Bluegrass Benefit held February 21, 2009, bringing together over 100 friends of Louisville's Frazier Rehab Institute for an evening of food, fun, and philanthropy in "Old Hollywood Style." A thirty foot red carpet welcomed guests; gold chivari chairs, red damask tone-on-tone stripe and black pintuck table linens, gold beaded votive lamps, and red anemone centerpieces set the tone for an evening of glamour!Below are some photos of the celebration, courtesy of Jessica Del Vecchio Photography! John Vickers-Smith entertains guests with stories of Maker's Mark history. The signature Maker's Mojito was a hit! Guests enjoyed shot glasses hand-dipped by John in Maker's signature red wax as part of their party "swag."
Burnett Thompson Music entertained the crowd with classic Rag Time jazz in the spirit of Old Hollywood. Guests sampled the delectable organic offerings of Occasions Caterers--scallops in bacon, crab cakes, and corn souffles were crowd pleasers!
